Same-Day Emergency Dental Care in Bukit Jalil
A dental emergency is any problem with your teeth, gums or mouth that needs prompt attention, often because of pain, bleeding, swelling or a broken tooth. Some problems cannot wait for a routine appointment. If that is you right now, we keep same-day appointments open for urgent cases, so contact us and we will do our best to see you today.

What is an emergency dentist?
An emergency dentist treats urgent dental problems that can't wait for a routine appointment: severe toothache, a knocked-out or broken tooth, sudden swelling, or a lost filling. The priority is getting you out of pain fast, then fixing the cause.
If swelling is spreading to your eye or neck, or you're struggling to breathe or swallow, go straight to a hospital A&E first.
When to seek urgent dental care
Reach out straight away if you have any of these:
- Severe or throbbing toothache that will not settle
- A knocked-out, cracked or broken tooth
- Swelling in your face, gums or jaw
- Bleeding from the mouth that does not stop
- A lost filling or crown
- An object stuck between your teeth you cannot remove
- Pain or injury after a knock to the mouth
If you have swelling that affects your breathing or swallowing, or bleeding you cannot control, go to your nearest hospital emergency department. Some situations need a hospital, not a dental clinic.
What to do before you reach us
A few things can help while you make your way to the clinic.
For a knocked-out adult tooth, hold it by the crown and not the root, keep it moist in milk or in your own saliva, and reach us quickly. Time matters with a knocked-out tooth.
For a toothache, rinse gently with warm salted water and avoid very hot or very cold food and drink. Over-the-counter pain relief can help if you take it as directed on the packet.
For swelling, do not apply heat to the area, and contact us so we can assess what is causing it.
For a broken tooth or lost filling, keep the area clean and avoid chewing on that side until we see you.
How we help
When you arrive, our dentists assess the problem, work to ease your pain and explain what is causing it. From there we talk you through your options so you can decide what happens next. We treat adults and children, so a dental emergency for your child is welcome here too.
If a wisdom tooth is behind the pain, Dr Teo's guide to wisdom tooth extraction cost in Kuala Lumpur explains what removal involves and what it costs.

What counts as a dental emergency?
Any tooth, gum or mouth problem that needs prompt attention counts, such as severe toothache, a broken or knocked-out tooth, swelling, bleeding that will not stop, or a lost filling or crown. If you are unsure, contact us and we will help you decide.
Do you see emergency patients on the same day?
Yes. We keep same-day appointments open for urgent cases and will see you as soon as we can, subject to availability on the day. Call or message us on WhatsApp early and we will do our best to fit you in today.
What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?
Hold the tooth by the crown, not the root, and keep it moist in milk or in your own saliva. Do not scrub it. Reach us as quickly as you can, because time matters with a knocked-out tooth.
I have swelling in my face, is that urgent?
Facial swelling can be a sign of infection and should be seen promptly. Contact us straight away. If the swelling affects your breathing or swallowing, go to your nearest hospital emergency department.
Do you open on weekends?
Yes, we open seven days a week. Call or message us on WhatsApp before you come so we can prepare for your visit.
My child has a dental emergency, can you help?
Yes, we see children as well as adults. Contact us and let us know it is for your child so we can look after them properly.
Can you see me today?
We keep slots for emergencies and aim to see urgent cases the same day. WhatsApp or call us and describe what is happening so we can prioritise you.
Do I need an appointment for a dental emergency?
Message or call first so we can prepare and slot you in fast. Walk-ins are welcome if you can't reach us, but a quick WhatsApp usually gets you seen sooner.
My toothache stopped, is the problem gone?
Often no. Pain that suddenly disappears can mean the nerve has died, which still needs treatment. Get it checked even if it feels better.
How do I manage pain until my appointment?
Rinse with warm salt water, take your usual over-the-counter painkiller as directed, and apply a cold compress for swelling. Avoid very hot, cold, or hard foods.
Can a knocked-out tooth be saved?
Sometimes, if you act fast. Keep it moist in milk and get to us within the hour for the best chance of re-implanting it.
Is swelling a dental emergency?
Yes. Swelling usually means infection, which can spread. Don't wait it out, contact us promptly and seek hospital care if it's spreading rapidly.
